The factory was established in 1964 by EMTAŞ A.Ş. and in 1967, it became a part of ELSAN Elektrik San. ve Tic. A.Ş.
Initially, the company primarily produced standard motors in assembly form, with imported components, up to 18.5 kW. With its growth, it has evolved to the point where it can now manufacture IEC standard motors, as well as 12 main types of motors and generators, up to 400 kW.
